An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
